Larry Morrisett, Board President

 Larry Morrisett serves as the President of the Board for the Child Advocacy Center. Larry is a life-long Tennessee resident and has spent 30 years working with youth and families in behavioral health and child welfare roles. Through these roles, Larry has worked directly with thousands of youth and families across Tennessee and surrounding states striving to ensure safety and well-being for all children. Larry is passionate about the Child Advocacy Center’s mission and has been involved with the Board since 2018. Larry is a proud father of four children himself. Professionally and personally impacting the world children grow up in is an honor that Larry does not take lightly.

 

Sissy Driver, Board Treasurer

Patricia ‘Sissy’ Driver is married to Jerry Driver and has 3 daughters; Stacie, Tameka, Jessica. Sissy retired from BellSouth/ATT with 40 years and has an associate degree from Nashville State Community College in Business Administration and Management as well as a Project Management Certification.  Additionally, Sissy is a Dickson County Election Commissioner and on the Board of  Development Services. She also volunteers with Clement Railroad Hotel Museum as a Docent and is a member of GFWC Dickson Co Woman’s Club.

 

Kathy Hickerson, Board Vice President

Kathy Hickerson is a veteran of the non-profit and local government sectors. She was active in the Rutherford County community, serving on numerous boards and committees – including the Child Advocacy Center of Rutherford County. When she married and moved to Dickson, Kathy joined the Child Advocacy Center for the 23rd Judicial District to serve her new community. Kathy believes in the mission of the CAC and is happy to share her time to advocate for and support our work.

  

Stacey Burkeen, Board member

Stacey is an active member of the Topless in Tennessee Jeep Club. She is active in promoting the 23rd CAC.  As a volunteer board member of the CAC, Stacey is active in promoting the centers Mission Statement to the public. She also assists in raising money to continue to provide much needed therapy and other services to help the children and families to heal from abuse.

 

Rep. Mary Littleton, Board member

Representative Mary Littleton is the state representative for Tennessee House District 78, which includes Cheatham and part of Dickson counties. Representative Littleton currently serves as the chair of the Children and Family Affairs Subcommittee, where she has been a leader consistently championing the rights of children and families across the state. Representative Littleton has been a longstanding advocate for the most vulnerable children, especially those who are neglected and abused, and she has an extensive history of passing critical legislation protecting these children and preventing further abuse. Representative Littleton plays an active role in many statewide and local community-based organizations, and she serves on the 23rd Judicial District Child Advocacy Board, Human Trafficking Advisory Council, and as the Second Look Commission co-chair. In her free time, Representative Littleton enjoys spending time with her family, including her children and grandchildren.”
